Dr. Brett Habijanac is a highly respected Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, specializing in complex facial reconstruction, corrective jaw surgery, and advanced maxillofacial procedures. With over two decades of experience, he is dedicated to delivering expert surgical care and innovative treatment solutions.

Born and raised in southern Alberta, Dr. Habijanac earned his Biochemistry degree from the University of Alberta before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of British Columbia in 1999. He then pursued specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at McGill University, where he honed his expertise in facial trauma and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Habijanac holds surgical privileges at all major hospitals in Calgary and plays a crucial role in emergency facial trauma cases. He also performs elective reconstructive procedures at Peter Lougheed Hospital, with a strong focus on three-dimensional surgical planning and advanced maxillofacial reconstruction.

As a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCD(C)), Dr. Habijanac upholds the highest standards of surgical care. He is an active member of:

  • The College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta
  • The Alberta Dental Association
  • The Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
  • The International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Outside the operating room, Dr. Habijanac enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and two Springer Spaniels. He is also passionate about giving back to his community and coaches a performance mountain bike team in Bragg Creek

Dr. Graham Cobb was born and raised in North Bay, Ontario. He completed his Dental School, Medical School, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dr. Cobb then completed a Head and Neck Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship in Portland, Oregon, at Legacy Emanuel Hospital and the Providence Portland Cancer Center.

He furthered his training in microvascular reconstructive surgery at the Technical University of Munich in Germany before returning to Canada to join the faculty at Western University. As a full-time professor, he instructed the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency training program before relocating to Calgary.

Dr. Cobb’s extensive experience includes managing complex oral cavity and facial surgeries and reconstructions. A Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he continues to serve on the Head and Neck Tumour Board at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre.

Dr. Cobb is actively involved in training General Practice Residents at the Foothills Medical Centre Dental Clinic in Calgary and teaches undergraduate dental students at the University of Alberta.

Born and raised in Calgary, Dr. Miller Smith earned his Dental degree from the University of Alberta. He pursued additional Hospital Dentistry training in San Antonio, Texas, before undertaking postgraduate specialty training. Dr. Smith further enhanced his expertise with a fellowship in Head & Neck Oncology, Microvascular Surgery, and Craniofacial Reconstruction in Glasgow, United Kingdom.

A Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Smith is actively involved in the Cleft Lip and Palate/Craniofacial and Multidisciplinary Dental programs at the Alberta Children’s Hospital and serves on the Head and Neck Tumour Board at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre.

He is the former director of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for the General Practice Residency Program at the Foothills Medical Centre Dental Clinic in Calgary, training hospital dentistry residents, and teaches undergraduate dental students and orthodontic residents at the University of Alberta.

Dr. Smith has published numerous articles and co-authored several textbook chapters, with a special interest in tissue engineering.

Dr. Brad Fisher was born and raised in Redcliff, Alberta. He obtained his Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at the University of Alberta. After practicing as a general dentist in Calgary,  Dr. Fisher pursued specialty training, completing his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as earning his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Science degrees at Dalhousie University. During his residency, he served as President of the Canadian Resident’s Association for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Following residency, Dr. Fisher completed a fellowship in Head & Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a member of both the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (CAOMS) and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS).

Raised in Montreal, Quebec, Dr. Tuan G. Bui completed his undergraduate education in Human Physiology at McGill University. He then obtained his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario, followed by a dental degree from McGill University.

Dr. Bui completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard University program in Boston, Massachusetts.

After his residency, he practiced privately in Manhattan, New York, before moving to Portland, Oregon, where he completed a two-year fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction at Head and Neck Surgical Associates.

Dr. Bui has published several articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals and has delivered numerous lectures and presentations. His professional interests include oral cancer, benign and malignant pathology, craniomaxillofacial trauma, facial reconstruction, bone grafting, teeth extractions, dental implants, and jaw surgery.

Dr. Tanya Rouleau was raised in Medicine Hat. She obtained her dental degree from the University of Saskatchewan and completed both general practice and an oral medicine residency at Carolinas Medical Center, in Charlotte, North Carolina. She successfully completed her American Board of Oral Medicine Diplomate examinations and holds a Fellowship in Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. She has made numerous presentations in the field of dentistry and oral medicine. Dr. Rouleau is a General Dentist limiting her practice to Oral Medicine.
